AMain Hobbies brings us Sen's latest creation, the 2024 M Sport Puma rally car. This 8-scale beast is a four-wheel drive brushless wonder, an updated version of last year's successful model. With fresh looks, updated colors, and chassis improvements, this rally car is ready to take on any terrain. The body is a sight to behold, adorned with decals, logos, and hard plastic pieces like side mirrors and a rear wing. The suspension feels plush, promising a smooth ride with ample travel to tackle bumps and jumps with ease.
Underneath the hood, the aluminum chassis design boasts sidewalls for airflow and aluminum shock towers for added durability. The drivetrain is a robust setup, capable of handling 2-3s lipo power with its metal gears and drive shafts. Equipped with a 100 amp brushless system, a 3000 KV motor, and Pirelli rubber tires on white spoked wheels, this rally car means business. New mechanical additions like the servo saber in the steering linkage and a rear bumper body brace address issues from the previous model, ensuring a flawless performance on the track.
Optional upgrades, including anodized heat sinks, aluminum shocks, CNC machined components, and a center differential kit, offer enthusiasts the chance to customize and enhance their driving experience. The team plans to put the car through its paces with a speed test before diving into the world of upgrades. Despite some initial steering quirks during the speed test, the team remains optimistic that upgrades like the center differential will elevate the car's performance to new heights.
