Yes, I've succumbed to the allure of a DJI RCN3 for camera drones, a device I once scorned for its geofencing restrictions. Despite my initial reservations, this contraption has proven surprisingly handy for capturing footage solo, a task my inept cameraman struggles with. While the Neo drone excels in calm conditions, it transforms into a jittery nightmare when faced with even a hint of wind, leaving me quaking in my boots.

In contrast, the DJI RCN3, while not without its flaws, offers a viable solution for obtaining those occasional aerial shots without relying on a mere phone. Its extended range provides a welcome boost, enhancing the overall flying experience. Additionally, my foray into using the Osmo Pocket 3 for filming has yielded mixed results, proving to be a useful tool despite falling short of the hype surrounding it. As I continue to explore its capabilities, I remain cautiously optimistic about its potential contributions to my video endeavors.

Overall, the DJI RCN3 emerges as a practical companion for leisurely flights on tranquil days, serving as a cost-effective alternative to pricier alternatives. While its performance may falter in blustery conditions, it fulfills its purpose admirably for casual users like myself.
